Depart your home country. Arrive in Athens, meet your team, settle in, and join an evening briefing.

Take part in hands-on sea turtle conservation work with the Archelon Sea Turtle Protection Society.

Explore Athens on foot, connecting history, democracy, philosophy and St Paul’s journey.

Journey to the Ionian coast and prepare for the sea-kayaking expedition.

Complete a four-day guided sea-kayaking journey along the Ionian coastline, paddling between islands and remote beaches, with wild camping throughout.

Return to Athens, stopping en route at the Archaeological Museum of Patras. We arrive in Athens in the evening and settle in.

Travel to Crete. Explore the area after arrival and begin preparing for the trekking phase of the journey

Continue exploring Crete’s landscape and culture, while preparing for the Samaria Gorge trek
-
Complete the Samaria Gorge trek. After completing the trek, return to Heraklion for a well-earned rest.

Further sites in Crete, including locations linked to St Paul’s journey. In the afternoon, we will reflect on the hike. In the evening, we board the overnight ferry back to Athens.

This morning we arrive back in Athens and transfer to the airport for our return flight home.
